What does Awoke do?

We design and supply of peat-free plant displays for homes, workspaces, retailers and events. We have some items for sale that can be posted or collected. We also work on projects such as the Canal Garden Hub and other community gardening locations.
What is Awoke about?

It is about reclaiming the word 'woke' from the nay-sayers and being proudly principled in how we choose to garden and grow plants. The use of peat in the majority of professional plant growing businesses is still HUGE. Along with pesticides, synthetic fertilisers, genetic modification, reduction of seed variety, loss of biodiversity, racialised plant names, sexist and racist attitudes and power structures... there's plenty to get woke about.
Is the Awoke studio open to browse as a shop?

No, sorry. I work in a number of locations and can't be everyday at the studio. However I can arrange with you to meet there for click and collect.
